Advice to sports clubs, health clubs for training staff and individual clients is available.
These are based on an individual bases depending on the time, location, anthropometrical measurements and number of appointments required. All fees are in line with the British Dietetic Association Recommendations.

Most insurers insist that you obtain authorisation from them before treatment. This will usually be in the form of an 'authorisation number'
or letter. If you have this authorisation before your first appointment, we will bill the insurers direct, on your behalf.

Professionalism - As a Registered Dietician I am bound by the Council for Professional Supplementary to Medicine (CPSM) Dieticians Board Disciplinary Committee Statement of Conduct. November 2000.
Insurance - as a Registered Dietitian and working within the Statement of Conduct I am covered with Professional indemnity insurance in professional practices and covered by public liability insurance.
The safety of the patient/client comes first at all times. As soon as a Dietitian becomes aware of any situation, which puts patients/client at risk, the matter will be discussed with a senior professional colleague of the Registrar of the Board if raising matter with a senior colleague is thought inappropriate or is not possible.
Confidentiality - all patient information will be confidential in line with the Joint BDA/Dietitians Board Standards for Record Keeping, July 2001.
Continuing professional development (CPD) is maintained to ensure up to date on all aspects of dietetic practice that is appropriate to the dietitain's work. This includes membership to The British Dietetic Association Specialist Groups: BDA Paediatric Group, Nutritionists in Industry, Freelance Dietitians Interest Group and Dietitians in Sport & Exercise Nutrition.
Fees are based in line with The British Dietetic Association recommendations.
Private Medical Insurance Cover - the patient /client must check with their private medical insurance company to see if they are covered before you make an appointment to commence consultation if you wish to claim expenses. At present most patients with private medical insurance can claim fees for dietetic consultations if required by a consultant. GP referrals currently are not reimbursed.
Cancellation Fees - If you are unable to attend an appointment/meeting and inform the Dietitian within 2 working days then there will be no charge accrued and the appointment can be re arranged at a more suitable time. Fail to do so and you will be charges all travelling fees and 50% of the total fee to cover time wasted.
Dietitian my cancel appointment/meeting with up to 5 working days notice. However, due to unforeseen sickness Dietitian may cancel appointment with in 24hrs. Where possible cover will be arrange to course as little inconvenience as possible. A new appointment will be made as soon as possible.
VAT - Healthy Food choice is currently not registered for VAT. However, this will be reviewed on a regular basis.
Appointment Waiting Times - every effort will be made to ensure you are seen as soon as possible and if this is not acceptable every effort will be made to refer you to another specialist Registered Dietitian.
Specialist - if appropriate you may be referred on to a specialist State Registered Dietitian or Consultant.
